Visual Apps to Assist Learning in Math!

Understanding a problem is frequently aided by visual representation. It is easier to understand and perform mathematical reasoning when using visual representations. Students are able to learn mathematical concepts with the aid of pictures. In addition, using visuals in mathematics helps people improve communication, think more critically, and recognize the creativity in mathematics. All students can achieve success in general education classes thanks to assistive technology. Technology is transforming how students and teachers learn. New opportunities are being provided for everyone involved in education to be openly accountable to parents, communities, and students. (Hamilton, 2018)

In this post I will be presenting some applications that will help students, parents and teachers in order to assist the learning material for math! My intention is to meet diverse learners needs following the UDL principles, UDL stands for Universal Design for Learning, as educators we have to provide many means of engagement, representation, action and expression.

With the use of quiz-style games, Kahoot!, a digital learning platform, students can learn by being challenged by classmates in course material this could improve students mental math. It's impressive that Kahoot!, one of the most well-known names in quiz-based learning, still provides a free-to-use platform, making it very accessible to both teachers and students. It's also a useful resource for a hybrid class that combines online and classroom instruction.

When practicing retrieval in math classes, kahoot is a fantastic tool.
